Knollwood Park meeting on Sept. 10

This post for people living in my immediate neighbourhood. There’s a meeting on Monday night about the plans to renovate and upgrade Knollwood Park (behind/beside Sheppard School).

If your interested in the type of ideas being considered, check out this list that was brainstormed in the spring.

What follows is a notice from our friends on the other side of Weber Street in the Auditorium Neighbourhood Association.

Knollwood Park Renovation & Upgrade

The Auditorium Neighbourhood Association invites you to join us for the unveiling of several park concept plans for Knollwood Park at

Sheppard PS Gym

September 10, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The ANA continues to work with the City of Kitchener to determine a preferred concept plan for Knollwood Park reflective of our neighbourhood’s input. The ANA won the Festival of Neighbourhoods grant in 2007 and is considering applying it to this Knollwood Park project.

We invite all local residents to review and comment on the park plans. Please feel welcome to drop in at any time during the open house for an informal viewing of the concept plans and discussion with City of Kitchener Infrastructure Services Department staff members.

If you have any questions or comments beforehand, feel free to use the comment section here!
